St. John’s Gingerbread School has been teaching preschoolers for over 30 years. We are located inside of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Crown Point Indiana at 1288 S. Indiana Ave.

Our number one goal is helping your child learn to play and interact with other children in a classroom setting while developing the necessary skills to succeed in kindergarten.  With this in mind, ours is a two or sometimes three phase preschool program.

All Gingerbread School Programs stress love, respect, imagination, and learning.  We share your hope that your child’s preschool years will be happy and full of enthusiasm and a love for school.  We want our Gingerbread School to be his or her “Home away from Home.”  This is a very exciting and important time in your child’s life.  We will do our utmost to make the short amount of time we spend with your child productive and memorable.

All of our preschool staff are CPR trained, BLS trained, and AED trained. We do background checks on all Preschool and Church Staff.  Call us to schedule a tour and meet our staff!
